Honing Brushes
The range of Honing brushes covers a wide range of grits for not only cleaning and finishing of bores, both for Hydraulic cylinders & IC engine bores and Liners. These are also extensively used in Plateau Honing of small bores. The special construction affords a mild but constant pressure against the wall of the cylinder giving a fairly uniform material removal and surface finish in the bore. Grits and sizes can be selected based on individual applications and technical parameters.
Superabrasive (Diamond & Cubic Boron Nitride) Hones
We have developed a wide range of high performance diamond and CBN honing consumables for high productivity precision machining of a wide range of IC Engines, Compressors, Gears and other moving parts used in sophisticated applications.
Honing Stones & Consumables
Consumables and honing stones for generating high performance plateau honing profiles in Cast Iron IC engine cylinders as also precision honing of compressor parts and hydraulic cylinders, which require a high consistency of geometry and surface finish in both conventional tubes and ready to hone tubes.
Precision Honing Tools & Expandable Mandrels
For very small and very large bores, Nagel have developed a range of expandable mandrels useful in the honing of small bore, lengthy parts as also very large bores (above 200 mm dia upto even 800 mm in some cases) These operate from simple, pillar drilling type arrangements adaptable with standard fixing including MT1, MT2 type Morse Tapers.


Superfinishing Consumables
A complete range of superfinishing stones / powders / preformulated compounds. Stones cut from blocks directly imported from Nagel to required sizes to very close dimensional tolerances in Nagel cutting machines. High grade surface finish (with longer abrasive life thus giving a boost to both quality and productivity) can be provided by using a wide range of stones. Superfinishing of a wide range of soft to hard and ferrous and non ferrous materials is possible with a wide variety of stones.
